Ted has been teaching and conducting workshops for nearly three decades.

Teaching is a way of giving back. Inspiring young musicians to achieve their own potential is an important part of Ted Nash's mission, whose exposure and influence has been continously growing over the years. Ted's teaching experience includes New York University, Manhattan School of Music, The New School, City College, and Jazz at Lincoln Center.

Private students have included Chris Potter, Loren Stillman, Marcus Strickland, Jay Branford, Jon Gordon and Kurt Bacher.

In 2008 Ted Nash joined the faculty at Juilliard, teaching along side such great artists as Ron Carter, Kenny Baron, Steve Turre, Carl Allen and Frank Kimbrough.
